People always say anacondas hunt men but they're wrong. They only hunt men if thier really hungry.They will eat anything that they can catch.Baby anacondas prefer small animals like fish, small birds, mice, ETC.There jaws open over 30 inches at sometimes. anacondas can swallow thier pray whole, and digest 50% in one hour. The anaconda stays at the shallow end of the lake or pond and waits for a animal to come and get a drink, then it quickly wraps itself around it and kills it. This where the most recent attacks were even though there were only five human attacks and well over 500 animal attacks.

Anacondas are found in harsh climents. They live in the swampy,tropical and the jungles of South Amarica. it also lives in western or central Amarica.they also are seen in Andis and Trinidad. The most place an anaconda is seen is the Amazon river. the first time this enourmus snake was seen was swimming down the amazon river. It hides in tall grass up in trees or under leaves. People and scientest have been testing to see if they could live in Northern Amarica and so far they have surrvived and quickly spreading to North Eastern Amarica.there have been sitings from Maryland to D.C .

Anacondas are very big, the largest snake in the world,they can grow to be up to 40 feet in length and 1-2 feet in diameter. There a mix of a boa and a water snakes. They have scaley and slimy skin. Anacondas have black circles on them with brown scales.Accept for black anacondas who are all black. Anacondas can grow to 550 pounds (227 kilograms).The largest anaconda ever found was 40.1 feet. and there is probably even bigger anacondas.The anaconda is a type of boa and their over 40 spieces of boa snakes, also there is four spieces of anacondas like, yellow, green, black and brown anacondas. They give birth to live anacondas, some times they have up to 50 babys at a time. though there cousin the python is longer the anaconda gets only one foot smaller but is double the weight of the python. Witch makes the anaconda the largest snake in the world. whats amazing is right after the anaconda is born it is big enough to be independent.

Baby anacondas have many predators. Like eagles/large birds, reptiles and large fish. The adult anaconda has almost no predetors accept for the common jaguar.
